Share the Road Initiative – Safety for Pedestrians, Bicyclists and Drivers
This October, Penn Police officers and Allied Security Officers participated in the Share the Road initiative to educate the community about safe commuting practices for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers. They spoke with bicyclists about following the rules of the road, reminded vehicles not to block the bike lanes, and shared safety advice with pedestrians, such as looking both ways at intersections- even on one-way streets, and the dangers of jaywalking.
