Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be 21 years of age; citizen of the United States, by birth or naturalization;
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED certificate;
Applicant must possess a valid state driver’s license from within the United States;
Applicants must have graduated from a Pennsylvania Municipal Police Academy (Act 120) or from an out-of-state police academy program possessing a waiver of proof;
Applicants must pass a physical and psychological examination; successfully complete a drug screening and background investigation;
Applicants must possess a current MPO card or certificate to apply.
